Even though I’ve been a Giants fan since I was a kid, I didn’t attend a home opener until 2009. There was pomp and circumstance. The Giants won. It was awesome. From that year on, I’ve made it a bit of a tradition to go to the home opener, even if that’s become a wee bit more expensive to do in the last few years. (Not that I’m complaining, because the Giants winning two World Series in three years was pretty sweet.) So when the Giants won the World Series again last year and would be raising another championship flag, I knew I had to go. And of course I took a few (okay, more than a few) photos.
(I love the awkward jump. Every time.)
I’ll be attending tomorrow’s game (well, technically today’s game based on the time I’m posting this) and likely taking a zillion photos of the ring ceremony, so look for those photos in the near(ish) future. Hooray for the return of baseball season and having a bunch of new baseball photos to post on my blog again!
