It’s taken a few weeks (February was kind of busy, and I’m super good at procrastinating), but I finally got around to going through my photos from FanFest, or as I like to affectionately refer to it, Waiting in Line Fest.
As I’ve mentioned before, it’s been a tradition of mine to go to FanFest every year. Of course this tradition started back when FanFest was at Pier 48. There were no crowds. You could bump into Felipe Alou while walking out of the restroom. The Giants were also absolutely terrible, so I suppose I’ll take a super crowded FanFest and two World championships over FanFest with no lines in an empty warehouse and a losing Giants team full of Steve Finleys, Armando Benitezes and other savvy veterans.
Was it crowded this year? Yes, it was super crowded. Did I enjoy myself despite the crowd? Yes, I did. And of course I took pictures.
And Hunter Pence and Tim Lincecum did impressions of each other:
See you again soon, AT&T Park.
Wonderful snaps! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I am more than ready for the regular season to start. Less than a month now!
